I was given Larissa’s name from a friend who used her for her Greece vacation. Larissa put together a wonderful Greece trip for me. I visit 3 areas (Athens, Naxos, and Santorini) and I felt so special. The drivers that picked me up and dropped me off at the airport to hotels to the water taxi’s to each island. The hotels were beautiful, comfortable and centrally located in the right spots to enjoy surroundings without being inconvenienced! Out of all the out of country vacations I have taken this was the best!

We were so grateful to have Larissa coordinate such an amazing trip for our family to Mexico. She made it so easy for us and we didn't have to worry about a thing. EXCELLENT OVERALL EXPERIENCE!! GREAT SUPPORT FROM LARISSA !!! When an airline strike interrupted our pre- cruise add on and threatened our ability to make our connection to arrive at the Ship on time, one call to Larissa took care of everything. She immediately found us a back up flight on an airline that was not on strike and then re-worked our reservation on the striking airline so that if the strike ended we could still make that connection. The strike was for one day only and we used the rebooked connection on the original airline and she cancelled the backup and we had that money fully refunded. The Staff of the Quark - Ocean Diamond were also very responsive and accommodating when , mid cruise, I discover that my ATM card was missing; I had not purchased the "communication" package as I prefer not to be connected when on vacation. Nevertheless, the expedition team lead used her phone and computer until we made a connection to Chase and had the card cancelled. Working with Larissa was one of the best travel decisions we have ever made!
As not frequent international travelers her expertise was valued and beyond helpful. Her knowledge, patience, and work ethic always felt personal, kind, and dedicated to US. It often felt like a close family friend was helping as we planned our honeymoon.
On selecting a place for our honeymoon Larissa listened and found us the PERFECT spot to relax and unwind.
She was constantly and quickly replying to emails, phone calls, and knew when to encourage us to get our part done. I'm the President of Women Who Whiskey ~ Los Angeles and I was excited when Women Who Whiskey L.A. member Larissa reached out to me about planning an independent, optional series of whisky distillery shore excursions for the September 2017 Gaelic Explorers tour on Star Pride.
Larissa provided excellent logistical support and her knowledge of and insight into the preferences of cruise guests were invaluable in helping me plan. Additionally, Larissa's sense of humor and passion for travel made the planning all the more fun! Larissa was also great in helping me coordinate my own trip details, which often took a back-seat to my management of the distillery itinerary.
The whisky distillery tours was everything we hoped it would be and we're planning an even more exciting September 2018 itinerary through Ardent Spirits L.A. and Women Who Whiskey L.A.! I really enjoyed the Gaelic Explorers cruise. I like that all the suites have an ocean view and are a nice size. And having 200 or so passengers made it more intimate. Crew members knew you by name. Dinner was always a great time to catch up & talk about the days adventures. The dinner menu was excellent with a variety of choices. I really enjoyed the Gaelic Explorers cruise. When my husband and I chose to go to New Orleans for our honeymoon, we knew we would need some help with planning. Larissa made our trip so much easier! She was helpful from start to finish, helping us decide on tours to take, arranging transport to and from the airport, and even suggesting new and exciting things for us to try out! When it came to logistics Larissa was a life-saver! Our trip just happened to be occuring after some particularly bad weather for the south and she made sure that when our original hotel closed due to flooding, we had a new hotel booked in no time with zero stress. During our trip, we wanted to make sure we had some time to explore on our own and see what new places we could find. Larissa took that into consideration and made sure that we had plenty of time to explore the city on our own on top of our scheduled tours. We couldn’t have done this without her help and we are so glad she could be on our team to create an amazing honeymoon for the two of us! First of all, know that I am NOT a seasoned traveler. I’m not even a sometimes traveler, so when my family decided we were going to Germany for 2 weeks, I immediately sought help.
Working with Larissa was like a dream come true. She was able to coordinate a couple different travel schedules for us since we were not all able to travel at the same time. And when an emergency came up and one of the family needed to travel to Germany quickly, one phone call had Larissa right there working on options for us to get him there as quickly as possible. She had such a sense of calm about traveling, that she was able to keep me calm…and that is not an easy task.
Larissa was able to think of things that we would not have. Knowing how tiring it is to travel on a long flight overnight, she made our first morning in Germany easy by having a car service meet us at the airport to get us to our hotel. No finding city transportation schedules to make our way there by ourselves. After being on an overseas flight for over 8 hours, it was very much appreciated.
She listened closely to our thoughts and ideas when she asked what types of experiences we wanted to have while were there. All four of us had different things we wanted to accomplish in the 2-week period. Larissa put together a fantastic itinerary that included both private tours and group tours of various sights. Our itinerary also included ALL the travel arrangements in country…some by private car, some by public transportation (buses), and some by train (both regional and ICE).
All the tour guides she arranged for us were very knowledgable about everywhere we went and everything we saw. They were a joy to listen to, and all of them were very patient with all our questions. The private tours she arranged were of places that were very thought-provoking and where a large group would not have made it such a memorable experience. The group tours were to places where being in a group actually made the experience more fun!
Even though I am still more than a little uncomfortable traveling, our experience working with Larissa was such that when my family talks me into our next trip…I know who I’m going to call!
